Telstra Pacific Events Centre, 770-834 Great South Road, Manukau. There are limited pay and display parking on site. The pay and display machines take coins, credit card, or text-a-park payments.

When Does Conference Begin?

The conference begins with an evening program at 7.30pm on Thursday 9 September and will commence on Friday morning at 9.30am.  Conference will finish each evening between 9.00 and 9.30pm with a break during the day for dinner.  Keep an eye on the website for regular updates to conference times.

 

Nights and Days at Sistas

If you are unable to come for the whole time to Sistas and would like to come to the evening sessions, these are open to the public at a cost of $10.00 each evening.  You may purchase your tickets at the venue once conference has started.  If you have registered for Sistas conference, you don't need to purchase night tickets.

We are not offering day prices at this stage, but keep an eye on this page in the event we offer them closer to conference.

 

Accommodation

We recommend the Novotel Ellerslie or  the Ibis Ellerslie for your time in Auckland. There is also a bus shuttle that runs from this location to both the conference venues for those ladies who will not have their own transport. Timetables are available at the Hotel Reception and the cost of the shuttle is $25.00pp.

2010 Accor rates are yet to be confirmed, but keep an eye on the website for updates.  As a guide the rates for 2009 were:

Food

A light morning tea is included in the cost of the conference.  For your lunch and dinner needs the Telstra Clear Pacific Centre has a cafe on site.  Other food options are located within walking distance, and we will have a shuttle bus running during lunch to local shopping facilities.

 

Newborns - 2 years

For your convenience and enjoyment during the services, we have a room available for you to look after your infant throughout conference. While here you will need to stay with your little one but we provide a live link to the main auditorium. Changing facilities, a microwave and a small fridge for bottles will be available

 

2 years - preschool

There is a programme provided for children who have not started school yet.  It runs from 9.30 - 4pm each full-day.  There is no evening programme available.  The cost includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.  If your child has special dietary requirements please provide their meals for them.  Please stay on site at all times while your child is in the programme in case of an emergency.  You will need to pre-register to secure your child’s place in the programme.  The cost is $65 per conference, and $40 for one day (per child).

 

TLC

Are you pregnant, elderly, mobility impaired or have special needs?  We want to make conference possible for you, and realise you may need some extra TLC.  Please contact our conference office if you are very pregnant, suffer from a severe illness or ailment, require wheelchair or disabled access, require sign language for hearing impairment or would like to enjoy the benefits of being 65+ and we will do our very best to assist you.
